Peter is one year old and was seen in our Rota, Kenya, dispensary. His mother, Anjeline, had brought him in because of a high fever. Our laboratory technician there checked his blood and he was found to have malaria; a doctor at the clinic also found a fungal infection. Malaria is extremely dangerous and is one of the top five killers of children in sub-Saharan Africa. Thanks to your generous donation, Peter received a full course of treatment, anti-fungal medications, and vitamins.
