Niki's mother (2)
Dear Jeremy, Sarah, Rajeev, Explorers, Mike, Sterling and Melinda, Safa, Julie, Ashley, Tomoko, Juan, Tyler, George, Chelsey, Class of 2013, Gail, Suzi, Kerri SubChung, Morgan, Nicholas, Allie, Asha, Alyssa, Joseph, Jordan, Traci, and Erika,

Delores lives in the village of Rota, Kenya. She decided to come along with her mother to a visit to the clinic because she was feeling especially run down and tired the past few months. After a thorough history by Vespa, the clinical officer, she was found out to be anemic. Anemia is a big problem in the developing world and one of the diseases that an on-site clinical officer can monitor. With proper nutritional counseling and supplements, people are able to improve rapidly and can better manage their work and family as well as fend off diseases.

Thanks to your generous donations the people of Rota, now have a clinical officer working at the dispensary. This makes a huge difference for many people of the village, including Delores. Thank you all so much for your generous donation!
