5 month old baby Frances was seen in Gashanda, Rwanda. He had been suffering from a high fever and bad cough. His mother brought him to Humanity for Children and he was found to be both dehydrated and with pneumonia.
He was given oral rehydration salts in the clinic, which he thankfully responded well to and was sent home with extra salts. He was also given antibiotics and asked to come back the following day for a recheck. He is now doing much better.
Pneumonia and dehydration are two of the top five killers of children under 5 in the developing world. Thanks to your donation, he and 19 other children will not have to worry about this problem! Thank you so much for this generous gift.
