Clinical Officers don’t just see patients…

For a clinical officer like Norman in Dunga, Kenya, it is not all about seeing patients.

Norman does a lot of paperwork (first picture) and is supported by his community board (second picture – Norman is on the left).

He also performs much needed outreach in the community, such as at this malaria net day, where HFC through Norman, taught many community volunteers on the proper use of malaria nets and then went into the village to distribute over 1200 nets in a single day.

In the third photo you can see people listening to the instructions from the volunteer Norman had taught earlier.
