Seizures conquered with a little help from a friend!

hfc
Dear Kabir,

Having Norman Ogado living and working in the community in which Humanity for Children serves is incredibly important. He is available at all time of the day and night and can see when there is a problem.

During his first month at the clinic site in Rota Kenya, he saw Liz having seizures in the school yard. When he asked how long this had been happening nobody could remember, but it had been a long time.

Norman accurately diagnosed the problem and started anti-seizure medication. Liz is now completely seizure-free and able to lead a normal life unhindered by stigma.

Your generous donation to keep Norman in the community where he can see problems that would otherwise not be noticed or taken seriously makes all of the difference in the world to children like Liz. Thank you so much Kabir for making a difference!

Edith gets a malaria net

Edith and son
Dear Neil,

Over 50% of the cases seen at the Humanity for Children Kenya site are malaria related. Edith is one of the happy recipients of a malaria net. Mosquito nets are one of the most important items given away as part of the medical kit in sub Saharan Africa since many malaria related deaths occur before a child is 5 years old.

Here Edith’s mother is holding a net she received in front of the clinic door thanks to the donation from Neil.
