Your donation has helped to provide nourishment for a family in rural Rwanda. The mother’s name is Afisa, pictured in the purple shirt, and the father’s name is Asman.
Afisa and Asman have two kids of their own, and a third orphan child in their custody.
The community health workers notified Humanity for Children about their family because they are very poor, and thus have had problems keeping their kids from getting malnourished.
Thanks to your donation, Afisa and Asman received the seeds necessary to plant a garden! Now, Afisa and Asman are comforted knowing that their children are receiving a healthy diet. Thanks for your kind donation Kellie!

Your donation allowed one of the preschools in Kibungo, Rwanda, to plant a garden! This garden will provide food for the children, who often lack adequate diets at home.
The teachers were very excited to receive this garden, and worked hard with Rwanda Peace Corps volunteers to dig and plant the seeds. Your donation has helped many children live healthy, more sustainable lives!
Kellie, thank you for your donation to Humanity for Children!
