Common pneumonia is one of the main reasons children under five die in Gashanda, Rwanda. Luckily for Regis, your donation allowed him to get antibiotics and not become another statistic. Thank you for your donation that has provided care to Regis and nine other children!

Emeline was seen at our Gashanda, Rwanda health post and had a high fever with a low blood count. She received medications from your generous donation and was transferred to the local hospital for further care. Thank you for your donation. Fils in Kibungo, Rwanda had an eye infection, but thanks to your donation, he received medication to have clear vision for his future! In addition to Fils, nine other children in Rwanda have received medical care!

Malnourishment is not uncommon in Rwanda. This family of four in Karama, Rwanda is getting a fresh start with wholesome food for their children. This garden was planted with sugar cane, taro root, amaranth, onions, carrots, pumpkins, eggplant, zucchini, and cabbage.

Colds can become dangerous and violent in Rwanda. Ndamuru from Kibungo was one of the ten children that received antibiotics for their ailments; he was vomiting from a bad cold. Ndamuru received anti-parasite medication and feels much better now. Thank you for providing medication for Ndamuru and nine other children at the Humanity for Children Clinic! Infant mortality due to preventable illness is a sad reality for some children in Rwanda.
Your donation, Corinne, offers ten children with antibiotics that combat the more common forms of illnesses in the region. One of these children is Fidel, a young boy from Kibungo, Rwanda. Fidel has had terrible stomachaches caused from parasites, and a fungal skin infection. Your donation helped him return to his healthy self!

Sepsis (a major blood infection) is an emergency anywhere and timely treatment is critical. Your donation allows us to treat sick infants like Luke in Gashanda, Rwanda, their home village, in cases when they simply don’t have time to make it to the district hospital.
