The net is almost bigger than he is and it is very likely that three or four children will sleep under this one net. Thanks for keeping Joshua and his family safe from malaria!

Olivia is twice widowed and has three kids. Amable (second from the left) is one of two orphans she’s taken in. The community health worker in their village says that they have suffered in the past from malnutrition.
Humanity for Children staff helped them put in a 4-row vegetable garden last Tuesday, November 2nd. It was an especially fun one because they were very excited about it! The vegetables they will grow with guidance from Humanity for Children will help Olivia and her family lead much healthier lives. Thank you David for your generous support.

Many times the diagnosis is not obvious and it is essential for a medical provider to be on the ground in the village to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a patient. Humanity for Children’s services provide this continuity for the community of Rota, Kenya.
By having a clinical officer in the village, villagers are able to be seen and evaluated. This can save them an entire days walk to the nearest hospital and a long wait at the “emergency department.” This can make the difference between getting the wash done, getting the goat milked, or even leaving the other children alone at home while the mother or father goes into town to the doctor.
By providing this donation, and supporting Norman, you have helped many families in Rota, Kenya find quality medical care and save valuable time that they can put back into providing for their families in this harsh climate. In this photo you can see Norman with just one of the 50-60 patients he will see each day!
They are truly grateful to have your wonderful support. Thank you Adrian (11 days!), Renee (3 days!), Nancy (2 days!), Rachana (2 days!), Molly, Lyndal, Casey, Andrew, Patricia, Diane, Lindsey, Jennifer, Madhan, Rao, Michelle and Carol for your support!
